Tourist Visa - Discrepancy in birth date. Please help

Hi,

I've L2 visa and I've applied for Tourist visa for my mom (Widow - 62 yrs). My husband holds L1 visa and he is sponsoring for her trip. We've scheduled dates for both OFC and visa interview date. My question is.

1) I made visa fee payment through NEFT. With the transaction number i scheduled her interview. Since this is online payment, what should be carried to the interview as proof of visa fee payment ?

2) After scheduling the interview we got email stating the scheduled dates. Should this print-out be carried or what should be carried as appointment letter ? We've the DS-160 confirmation page (but it doesn't state the interview dates).

3) Since we are inviting my mom, My Birth Certificate needs to be shown. There is discrepancy between my birth date in BC and the one in my passport and all other certificates. The one in my BC is wrong. Such being the case, what is the next option ? What kind of document should i provide as substitute for my BC.

Please help me with the above questions.

1. Just the print out you took at the time of making the payment which has the confirmation number etc.
2. Yes, take that appointment letter.
