Before OFC - BioMetric/Consular interview

Hi Advisor,

I have submitted online DS 160 and also taken interview for my parents for OFC and Interview this week. All documents are currently with my Parents (DS 160 Confirmation, Appointment Confirmation, I134, supporting documents etc). As per guidelines, they will carry 1) Passport 2) Photos 3) Confirmation 4) Payment receipt 5) Appoinment Confirmation to OFC Mumbai on the mention day. I have following questions,

1) Do I need to submit documents in person (hard copies) one day in advance to OFC or directly need to take above documents at OFC?
2) Will any documents be kept at OFC and they will send to Consulor (Interview place) or all documents will be returned to my parents with sticker on appointment letter as "Confirmed interview for consular"?
3) Then on next day carry same set of documents and supporting documents for consular interview or we need to submit in person one day in advance?

Mainly documents will stay with parents or any requirement to submit in advance to any of the place (OFC/Consular).
