B2 visa. please help!!

For a single, 26 yr old , going to visit friends, denial is almost certain.

the reason is , "who goes 14000 miles, spending so much money,leaving work, just to visit friends"
And young and single they don't think you will return.

For you to get the visa ,

*First visit neigbourhood countries ( singapore , hong kong) , europe etc.
* Have a strong income of Rs 10L/yr or more.
* Show a purpose of visit that sounds natural. Eg. visiting close relatives. If you do not have any, show a purpose to tour
US with 1 or 2 cousins. ( that can work only if all of you have very good income and tour history to europe etc.)
* better still, if your company can send you on a business visit , you can also visit friends on the same visa.
For that too , must have good income.
*savings accouts are not looked at. INCOME is the most imp.
* Do not ask for sponsorship from US, that will go against you always.

I cannot say about your friend, but you will get surely denied, if you apply like this.

No, it will not affect your H-4 if you get denied.
It will only affect if there is lying or misrepresentation.
