Names on passport and visitors visa not matching

My in-laws B1/B2 visa granted but there is some difference in names printed on their passport and visa.
In their passport there is nothing printed under Surname and full name is printed under Given name in following format
SURNAME FIRST_NAME MIDDLE_NAME.

When names on visa were printed they were in following format
Surname : MIDDLE_NAME
Given Name: SURNAME FIRST_NAME

So there is difference printed on VISA and passport

Is this likely to create problem when travelling to USA?

They think that whatever is printed at the last is the last name.

It is hard to say whether there would be a problem or not.

The best approach would have been to get the passport corrected first before applying for US visa.

Thank you for reply... but the visa has already been issued now... it may take time o reissue of the passports and
Do I need to reapply for visa if passport gets changed?
