B2 Visa_Urgent help required

Hi, I am planning to visit my wife who is studying in the USA. I plan to visit for a month or so. But, I just happened to exit my company (in mid February, 2013) and now searching for another job. What would be the best way to show ties to India. Please assist. Thanks.

Thanks Peace.... what if I get a job and get an employment offer letter and show the consular that I have a job lined up? Wouldn't that suffice?

No. The very fact that you are going to visit your wife will mean that you may not return.

What is the reality?
*When did she go to US for her studies?
*Is she planning to return to India after her graduation? when is she graduating?
*When did you guys get married and how come you are apart?
* did you ever apply for an F-2 visa?

She has already completed her two year MS graduate program in fall 2012. Now she is working under OPT since Sept 2012 for a reputed international company with $84,000 annual salary. Will this be an issue since she has a lucrative job there with a well-known company?

No, I never applied for F2 visa.

If you really want to be with her, the only way is to try for an H-1b sponsor in US, instead of looking for a job in INdia.
H-1b does not require an intent to return.

B2 and F2 both require an intent to return , which you cannot prove( no job in India and wife in US).
