Info needed : Mulitple DS-160 submission

I was out with filling DS-160 form yesterday for my parent. My mistake unnoticed I have provided wrong place of birth(not the one in passport) and submitted the DS-160 form. Only after Checking the confirmation page, I realized the mistake. I went ahead with creating new DS-160 app, and submitted again.

My question is does it have any impact in future because of submitting multiple DS-160 for a single person. However while scheduling the appointment I will provide the DS-160 app number for the one with corrected info.

No problem. Just discard the DS-160 form with the incorrect information and fill a new one. Use the new confirmation number.
