Regarding document submission

Hi. I am from Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
I am currently working on my parents' visitor visa.
Previously we were used to submit some basic documents including appointment letter 5 days before the interview date at VFS office in Ahmedabad.
Is that process now eliminated? or do we still need to submit the documents before the interview date?

Kindly give me guidance in this matter. I tried to look over the whole website and all the information but there is no mention about that step.
