DS160 error: help needed..!!!

Hi,

I am traveling to US on B-1 and i am planning to take my wife along with me, so i added her as dependent in DS160 form and submitted it.

While filling it, i mentioned her as House wife but in reality she is currently working. I did that as it is tough to get leave sanction letter for he role. Now i am wondering if i did a wrong thing, Will there be any problem in future if she applies for B-1 or L-1 from her current company?

My visa interview dates are fixed and now can i correct the information now? please suggest. I am confussed.

You should not provide incorrect information.

You should get the information in DS-160 corrected and take new appointment.
