PR holder visa to America for 20 days

I am in Australia from past 7 years but got PR just a year ago. I would like to visit America for 20 days, I got no family in both the countries, would like to know which visa should I get.

Visitor visa ( b1/b2) . You need to complete an on-line DS 160 form.

For this you should have;

* strong ties to your country of residence.
They mainly ask about job, income and family. Since you do not have a family,
if you have a long term job with good income it should do.

*A natural purpose of visit. If you do not have family in US, and you are
just going for tourism alone, they will want to see if you have been traveling to other countries alone.
Or, plan a trip with a compnanion for the time matching leave from your job.

Usually it takes a few days to process but if your case is put under admin. processing, it can take much longer.

I suggest you look at US consulate website of the major australian city in your proximity . ( google it).
