    Can a B2 holder apply for greencard while her US husband is unemployed

    I came to US with a B2 visa and got married with my US boyfriend one month later. (It's not marrige fraud, we've known for many years). But he is umemployed for 7 months and still looking for jobs. His lastannual salary was over 100k but he doesn't have much savings. His current savings plus other assets could be almost enough as the poverty line shows. Can he be my sponsor based on his previous salary? He also claimed me as an dependant for tax. I am so worried that I have to leave soon. Can I apply for my greencard under this circumstance? Will it be difficult for us?

    Do not leave, you are a US citizen's wife. take the help of a relative of his in filing green card.

      His savings is equal to the poverty lines right now. Show I apply my greencard without joint-sponsor?
