H1B expired-trying for Vsitor visa

Would like some one to help me on this. I was in USA on H1B in 2001 and same year came back to india with a valid H1B till 2004, and stayed back in India. H1B expired 2004. Now planning to visit USA on visitor visa for a month. What is the likelyhood it will be denied? Currently working for a MNC in India with a well placed job.

Should be easier since the major issue with a visitor visa is intent to
return which you have demonstrated alreadý.
But still , go prepared with all the paperwork; letter of employment cum
leave, salary slip, bank statements, tax returns, evidence of
investments, property etc.
