My mother name in my passport has extra character, does that need to be corrected

Dear All,

I am sponsoring visitor visa for my mom and dad. In my Mom passport her name is spelled as "Sathyavathi" and in my passport her name is spelled with extra "i" (Sathiyavathi)

During her B2 visa interview or while entering US will this create any problem? If so, could you please guide me in solving it.

Should i,
1. Correct her name in my passport or
2. Get any affidavit document to solve this issue. Please guide me in getting that affidavits.

Reg : Clerical mistake in MCA certificate

Hi,

I have applied for H1B Visa for the year 2014. After applying for the same, I was notified by university people that there is a small clerical mistake in my MCA main certificate and the correction has been done. But the certificate I have send for H1B application is my old certificate which will be differing from my corrected certificate which is in my hand. Can you please check and let me know will it create any issue during stamping or any other process. Please guide me for the same.
