  • F2 and B2 together for family

    Hi ,

I am planning to invite my parents for my graduation ceremony under B2 visa and also i am planning to apply for F2 visa for my wife .

Is it ok if i ask them to take single appointment for the interview instead of going separately .

Will there be any issue if they go together for the interview ?

    Thanks

Since they are two different visa classes, it is advisable to apply separately
    to increase the chances.

      Hi ,
      Thanks for the reply .

I was thinking since for both the applications (DS160) i am the contact person in US , will that information will not pop up whenever DS160 form is reviewed by the VO ?

Also i thought may be if they go together they can present more solid financial proof .

Also my parents are govt employees and even my wife is working in an MNC .

      Please suggest .

Same contact info does not matter.
Parents and wife can have different travel plans and so can apply individually.

Actually, one should not think about it too much.
Do not think it will make a huge difference other than more attention at individual interviews.

So, you can go either way you seem fit as per your situation.
