Proof of TTS receipt for Rs.441

My parents went for visa and got rejected. So, when they go for interview the next time, they dont have to pay Rs. 441 to TTS services if it is within an year, right?
But what does TTS give as a proof of the amount paid? My father told me they did not give any give any service charge receipt. But a sticker was pasted on the passport with 'TT Services' on it. Can someone please tell me if a service charge receipt is required.

You have to pay Rs. 441 again.
Where did you hear that one year rule? Is it written anywhere?

Your parents do not have to pay Rs.441 again as the receipt has a validity of 12 months from the date of issue. If they were not issued a receipt, they can show the sticker with the date on it.

The written rule is in each of the web appointment receipt which is the proof for having made the appointment, and contains some general instructions to applicants.
