  • Need B2 visa help!!! Please!!! Help!! Denied visa,

Hello, first I would like to say thank you for looking and thank you for any help or advice.

I went to the US embassy in London to apply for my B2 visa, I already travel to the states on my esta but wanted to travel for a long time this time as 90 days is just not enough to see what this awesome country has to offer. I am 27, own my house, have a good amount of savings but I have not worked out of choice for the last 6 months. I have family in the uk.
My visa was denied 214(b), I could not believe it!!!! But what is worse is that I had to reapply for my esta and that was refused too! I have no idea what to do next, the emigration guy did not give me a chance to plead my case. I wish I would of just kept using my esta.
If I was going to stay in the USA why would I take the time to travel a long way for an appointment which cost me time and money when I could of just travelled in on my esta and disappeared?? There is no logic!
I travel to the states a lot and have always left when I should and never get in any trouble, I spend good money into the economy.

I am now totally stuck! I am meant to be going with my family in July, what do I do now?? Please any help would be great.

If you need anymore information please ask

    Kind regards Herbie,

Stable work at home is an important tie that the visa officers look for. If you show you are out of work,
that is sure to trigger 214b (not likely to return).

The only option you have now is to apply again for a visitor visa.
    But you must plan carefully before you apply ;
1.What was the purpose of visit you mentioned to the embassy officer ?
Why did you say you wanted to stay more than 90 days?
2.By family, do you mean spouse and kids? OR do you mean parents and siblings?
    3. Do you have any relatives in US? on what visas?

      ........

I said I wanted to travel around and see more of the state but without having to cram it into 90 days.
Parents and sister but my dad is sick I might have to return at anytime.
I have no relatives in the states.

I don't work, but that is because I choose not too, family money saves me from it.

I old be happy just to get my esta back!! If I had of known what the b2 could do I would never of bothered!!!

I travel to the USA a lot last trip was 89 day, 5 day prior to that the 21 day the 56 days the 18 days, all within and 24 month period.

Thanks for any help or advice

        No use regretting.

If US trips are that important to you, you have to get a stable reasonably well paying job,
        work for 9-12 months
and then apply for a visitor visa. This time do not say you want to go for >>90 days.
Tell them you wish to go for 2 weeks of pleasure trip but your esta is disabled due to
past B2 denial, so you need the visa.

It is not that difficult for someone in UK to get a visitor visa by satisfying this requirement.

Hi, thanks, will I be eligible for an esta again in the future? I have always got them in seconds prior to this b2 denial??

          Cheers

As fas as I know, you will need a visa, not esta, from now on to travel to USA.

If you have a visa, ESTA does not apply.
