There is no point in applying again if your situation is the same.

You can't convince the officer in anyway, THEY judge .

Please post your interview in Q and A form.

    Also;
*how many children do you have ? How many in India and how many in US?
*Are you and your wife working or retired?
*What is your combined family income in India roughly?
*Were you going to pay for the trip yourself?
    *Have you been abroad before?

I dont understand why it was rejected

You already have the ties to the country as you have business here and have a good income too

Did you have any prolonged stays, frequent visits, extensions on your last visa?

Now that you are going for the interview again, I think you should take proof of
your income if that is actually 20 L . ( IT return will help). Open the interview
saying that last time there was some confusion about company income and personal income
so , I wish to clear that up.

My all trips to US was clean that short 10-15 days stay , no extension, it was Business trips
Thanks for your suggestion, Do I become proactive and present the case before VO asks ? or be reactive i.e. wait fro VO question to come up.
During last interview after my answer , I did not disturb as VO was working on computer and at end of it ,answer was "Visa Rejected" I wonder what happened ?
I applied for B1 / B2 while purpose was not only tourist , was this a problem ?

Actually, I am surprised that you were denied.

"Working on computer" they actually go through your DS 160.

              -Was there anything on that?

-are you sure that is all the qs they asked?

              - Do you have any other relatives in US?

-Is there a pending immigrant petition on your behalf?

-What was the time you wrote you wanted to go for?
              ---------------------------------------
I think you should open the interview politely, nothing to be scared of. You are paying for the service, and you
have the right to put forward your case. The worst case-- they will deny you again.
And if that happens, you ask them what is the reason for denial.

                    Congrats!

Im new here in this forum.

I just had my interview yesterday in Dubai.

                    I was denied with 214b.

Is it possible to re apply? How soon I can re apply?

VO didnt look on my Invitation Letter, I have bank statements and all necessary docs needed.

Owning 2 cars will prove that you have ties?
I work in a MNC Company.
And I am only allowed for 15 days leave.

Travelling with Fiance with M10 Visa already.

                    Thanks in advance!

For benefit of everyone can you please post your latest Q&A. I am interested in knowing if this time you upfront produced the IT return without officer asking.

                          Default B1/b2 visa rejected
Hi, I'm an Indian citizen currently residing in Saudi Arabia since March 2015 after getting married in January.

I applied for the visa in March 2016 in Jeddah I was handed the 214 b form. This was how the interview went.

                          ME: gm
VO : how long have you been in saudi for?
                          Me: about a year
                          Vo: purpose of visit
Me: holiday and to visit my husbands aunt
                          Vo: how long and where?
Me: about two weeks, we'll see the east coast. Husband went recently and loved NYC so really wanted to show me around
VO: show husbands visa and employee letter
Me: he's in a government job here and makes 1 lac
VO: who'll be sponsoring for your trip?
Me: husbands uncle.. (Show them the invitation letter)
VO: have you traveled anywhere in last 3 years
Me: Dubai, Mauritius for honeymoon and Saudia
VO: sorry, you don't meet the requirements of the visa. Reapply again when circumstances are different.

I was carrying all my documents to show strong home ties, I've visited 4-5 more countries but that was before 3 years so didn't mention. I was told to only answer questions that are asked. I feel I didn't elaborate much on my home ties, how I have family and house in India etc

Now I'm moving to India this June. Thinking of reapplying next year. Why must I have gotten rejected ? And what should I do to not have it happen again?

Can you let me know with what category did you applied the second time (when you were approved), was it B1/B2 or only B2?
