I have filled an application form for B2 visa, but in DS-160 instead of B2 pleasure visit i have selected B1/B2 business and tourism by mistake. If i fill in a new application before the consulate interview will there be any problem. I have already completed my first appointment for Bio metrics and Photo.

Please suggest ASAP.

no. you can modify your ds 160 only before biometrics.

but no problems, this is not a big issue.

if the officer raises the q, you can explain it was an error.

anyway all visas are issued as b1/b2.
