  • Translator issue

I have read about translator issues a few times on this forum. MY Dad has an appointment next week at the Delhi consulate. When I scheduled an appointment, there was no option to select a translator. Does he have to request a translator when he appears for the interview? Please advise.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. My Dad had his appointment this morning and was able to get give his interview in Hindi.
Also I had written to ttsvisas and this is what they replied..
"Please be informed there is no option for selecting the language through the website, but while going to American Embassy you can request there for interviews to be held in Hindi or English."
This is for the Delhi consulate and may not be applicable in case of other consulates.

My Dad got his visa this morning and I want to thank immihelp for all the help.

Thanks for letting us know. I was not aware of that specific detail for US embassy in New Delhi.
