Visiting USA on B1/B2 Visa for training

Hi,

Just wondering if you are allowed to visit USA for one week of training USA on B1/b2(Visitor Visa). I will not be paid in USA and will only be attending orientation in USA and will be travelling for Canada and might cross boarder through land.

Your help will be much appreciated.
