Mother name last name is different in her/my passport

I am in US and sponsoring visitor visa to my parents.

My mother name in my passport as " firstname lastname(my father's first name)" (in mother name field)
my mother name in her passport as " firstname lastname(her father's name)"

Example:
in my passport, her name shows as "Mary Burlock"
her passport shows as "Mary John"

Will it cause any issue. if yest what is the workaround.

Pls suggest.

It looks like her name changed due to her marriage.

Therefore, I suggest that she carry her marriage certificate that shows old and new name.
