cancelling my b1/b2 !!!

hello every one .
i have b1/b2 visa and my family too, we got it in march 2013. but i changed my plane, i decide to study in US so i applied for F1 and we didnt do the intervies yet, but suddenly after 3 days of applying the embassy called me for changing the current visa ??? what does it mean. will they cancel the b1/b2 visa ? please help

Embassy never calls. Some **** person must have called you.

i am very sad. they already cancelled it. they put cancel stamp on the visa. now, is it effect on F1 visa ? and why they do that for me ??

Did you appear for the interview for student visa yet?
how do you know they canncelled your B1/B2 visa?

Hello,
first, i didnt made the interview yet.
second, they took my passport and then they stamped on it " cancelled " .

i dont know why ?? it is really surprised me alot, and i dont know if they will accept my new visa F1.
but the officer told me that you can apply again.

i am really really sad, i have lost 2 year visa to US.

please help i do now,
