Hi- My parents are flying from India to US in an Emirates flight in June 2013. A travel agent in India booked their tickets and both their first name and last name got interchanged in the ticket (Eg: Their name as per passport is ABC XYZ, but its written as XYZ ABC in the booking confirmation). There are no issues such as spelling mistakes or anything.. Will this create any issues for them in the immigration(origin and destination), at airport or even while going back from US to India? Any pointers or experiences are greatly appreciated. We called the airline they said its upto the airports and the immigration..The travel agent is refusing to re-issue the ticket citing reason as additional cost..
