My daughter is working in US on H1b visa since a year. My husband and myself have a B2 visa. While I have travelled twice,my husband has visited once. We have stayed for less than 5 weeks both times. On my next visit, I desire to take my mother who is 80 years old to visit US. Is it better for my daughter to sponsor her grandmother or should I sponsor her? Though it will be the first time she will be applying for a US visa, she has travelled to Dubai in the past on holiday. Is it necessary for her to appear for the interview, and if yes can I accompany her during the interview?

If 80 or above she is not required to appear for an interview.
If you and your husband are earning well and have good savings, you can show funding for her.
With the application, you can send your deposits copy /bank statement/income proof . Make sure your income
is good or you have substantial savings. Also your visa copy and
an invite from your daughter.Last edited by peace999; 05-22-2013, 05:08 AM.
