All the best! See, if we keep waiting for situations to change, there will always be new situations cropping up at various points in our life which might look like hurdles again. It's just a visa and tell your sister to be confident at the interview and always keep in mind during the interview that they are NOT doing her a favor by giving her a visa but she is doing them a favor by traveling to their country and spending her money and time there. Just don't be too cocky but confident and friendly and every country welcomes people with genuine intentions.

In fact her being a student and third year engineering will be a positive. A non-idiot visa officer will know that not everyone will jeopardize their 3 years of education to be status less and an illegal in a new country.

I am planning to sponsor my younger sister's visitir visa. She is a student and is in her third year of B.tech. I sponsored the visitor visa for my parents recently and they got their visa approved recently. The reason why my sister did not attend the visa interview with my parents was that she was preparing for her exams that are still going on so we plan to schedule her visa interview after her exams. I have the following questions:

      1. Since she will be travelling along with my parents for 2-3 weeks but she did not attend the visa interview with them. Will that be a problem?
If she explains that she was preparing for her exams will they consider it a valid reason? (and that is the Truth we are not hiding anything)

Also, what do I fill in DS 160 under the section Travel companions?

      2. She will be visiting us for 2-3 weeks for her vacations and then will go back to India to continue her studies in college.
(How to explain this to VO that he understands this scenario)

      3. She will carry with her college ID card and previous semester's marksheets and a copy of the exams datesheet to prove that her
exams were going on. Will these be sufficient or do we need to provide some more documents?

      Please suggest!

Thanks, I appreciate your help in advance!
