Prepone Interview Date

Hi All,
As my wife is pregnant I am calling my mother- in law to US. Now the interview date which she has got thru mumbai consulate (OFFLINE APPOINTMENT) is in the last week of October.Now is there a way to prepone this interview date & get an earlier date. What are my possible options.

There is no way other keep trying to see whether you can get earlier date.

Can you pls explain it in detail. How & where do I try it.

Go to VFS website from https://www.immihelp.com/us-visa-application-procedure/ and see if earlier appointment is available in case some one else cancels.
