New DS 160 after scheduling appointment - advise needed !

Hi all

I have scheduled appointment for my parents' visitor's visa on June 19th and I recently found that there is a mistake in the retirement date of my father (I put 2012 instead of 2011).

Could any one guide me as to how I can rectify this mistake? I can re-submit a new DS-160, but I am not sure how to link it to the interview appointment I have already scheduled. Should I call VFS and try to get my original DS-160 unlocked? Do I schedule another interview, and will that mean I have to pay the fees again?

Any advise here would be really helpful.

Don't fill new DS-160 form. Ask him to mention that at the time of interview.
