Tourist Visa bank Balance for sponsor

Hello Sir,

I am on L1 in US since last 1.5 years. My mom is planning to visit me, I have few questions:

1) if she sponsors herself then what amount does she requires in her bank account in india?
2) if I sponsor her, I have one issue, I relocated to new place last month and got new bank account, I have the sufficient balance to sponsor her but new bank can give me two months bank statements as i opened this account 2 months back and this is my salaried account now.
Prior to this my salary used to come in another bank.
How can I give 6 months bank statemnts as first bank is not getting credited with salary anymore for last 2 months.

There is no fixed number that she needs to show. $5000 is considered sufficient for a typical trip. You can provide her with whatever statements that you can.
