  • Visitor B2 VISA for Parents and In-Laws

I am sponsoring Visitor(B2) visa for my parents and in-laws. My wife and me are working in US i.e. am on L1B VISA (from past 22 months) and my wife (from past 5 months) is working on valid L2 EAD. My average bank balance for last 6 months is not more than $10K, but as of now the cumulative bank balance is more than $13K. My question is: As I am sponsoring visitor VISA for both my parents and in-laws (i.e. both will go for VISA interview with a week gap), does my average bank balance is sufficient enough? If not, shall I join my wife's and my account to show joint account balance and average balance? Though my wife is not sponsoring either my parents or in-laws, is it fine to show her account balance alon with mine. In that case combined average bank balance will be more than $8K/month and total balance will be more than $20K for last 6 months. Please clarify.

    Regards,
    Hemanth

Yes, you can combine yours and her balance, provided she is going let you use money in her account to take care of the expenses of the visitors.
