My parents are attending B2 visa interview together in New Delhi on 28 Jun. In their DS-160, we have mentioned they will be self-sponsoring their trip for 4 weeks in Oct. My annual income $100,000/ year and am on H1B.
1. In my dad's annual income, we have 10L+ per year.
2. In my mom's annual income we have <5L per year. So their combined income is about 15L per year. Plus have property/ savings in india as well.
My question is - in each of their DS-160 it is mentioned they will self-sponsor. Does the visa officer see combined income of my dad and mom or does he see them seperately. Would Mom's lower income impact both of their chances? Should I rather put me as sponsor.
Thanks for your help!
