I am applying for B2 visa with my parents where both me and my father are comfortable with English while I want Hindi as interview language for my mother.
When I called the call center, a lady told me that I must select a common language which everyone can speak. She said, if I select English then there is no guarantee that at the Consulate I will get a Hindi interpreter.
I have checked the dates and on the date I want to go, both English and Hindi slots are available. So if I select Hindi to be on the safer side, will I be questioned as to why we did that when we could speak well?
I am wondering what should I do?
