hi,
as my mothers got her visa rejection due to translator issue in aug ,
now we found a date in sep but the problem is again it was for english(she can talk only telugu)
they stamped her passport as "application received" and gave a token that has written "telugu".Last time She came back with out interview.
This time my father is also going with her.

My questions are

a)can she apply again within a month or should wait 6 months ?

b)what r the chances of getting visa by doing the same thing(requesting a translator) again

Any help would be appreciated.

Usually in cases of visa rejection..it is preffered to give a gap before trying again...but in ur mom's case it is because she had no interpreter available...hence u can very well apply rightaway.

One thing I dont' understand is....when u know that last time she was refused an interview (forget about the visa) for the same reason..why repeat it again???
Why didnt' u take a telugu appointment? If the reason is delay in available dates....then...know well before you send her that you are taking a risk here. She can very well face the same this time too, and also more.

The mere reason for appointment availabilities in different languages is so that people can book the same as per their abilities of communication. If everyone tries to book an english appointment and after reaching there, ask for an interpreter...then very soon we will be forcing the consulate to stop even those one or two requests that they try to accept, in appropriate cases ( like if two or more people were gng for the appointment, and the only person speaking english between them cudn't attend for some reason) and so on.

There should be a genuine reason for requesting an interpreter at the last moment..and simply not because appointments in english were available a little earlier than others.

Just know that u r taking a chance again. It might work if u tend to be a lucky penny.
