Hi,
I am a H1B visa holder and I am travelling to US with my mother, who has tourist visa. My visa expires in next 4 months, so I will be applying for an extension after reaching there. The plan for my mother is that, she will stay with me for few months and then move to my sister's place who is also in US.
My concern is - since my mother is travelling with me, will she be granted only 4 months of stay or is there a possiblity to get the maximum 6 months period.
Has anyone faced a similar situation? Please provide your inputs.
