I think only Mumbai consulate offers Marathi translation.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.

Thanks kabkaba. in this case, compulsory need to go to Mumbai even Delhi resident. Is that correct ?

Will it be any problem as interview will happen in different zone ?

      Please help me.

      Thank you.

No, only Mumbai has Marathi translator, but a person not living in that area can also apply at Mumbai.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.

                Translator

We had contacted the ustraveldocs asking whether we can get a tamil translator in mumbai. Here's the response I got:

"You can apply in any of the consulates for a visa interview, there is no provision for a translator in the consulate, you can accompany your mother in the visa interview with your photo id to help her with translation in the interview."

Does this mean anyone can accompany my mother for the visa as long as they can provide the translation? Or does the person need to be a blood relative?

Has anyone else been through this?

                  It seems so.
But agent may be misinformed. If the interview booking system allows for a Marathi language interview, book it, they will have the translator there.
This is my opinion and not legal advice.
