Visitors visa parents affidavit sign-off ?

Hi Gurus,

This site provides very great help for the immigration community. I really appreciate their service.

My parents got an appointment in chennai consulate next month. I have one question regarding the parents personal affidavit documents. Do we need to notarize the documents from someone (from whom) or parent just can have sign on them.

It does not need to be notarized.

But it should be on stamp paper and it should be court stamped. In other words, ask them to go to civil court and ask someone there to make them an affidavit.
