Did you apply for CS purpose both the times you were denied?
Or did you mention some other purpose?
Which month and years did you apply?
Have you taken step 1 and step 2 ck? how are your scores?
Did they ask about them in the first interviews?
Do you have any relatives in US?
Do you have any close friends in US who are doing residency?

ANS- During the first application mentioned CS,Step 3 and applying for residency in the Cover letter so duration of stay 9 months in the DS 160.
in the second attempt mentioned only CS in cover letter so 15 days in DS 160.
Or did you mention some other purpose?
ANS-no other intend so nothing else not even tourism.
Which month and years did you apply?
ANS- 5th june 1013 and 1st july 2013
Have you taken step 1 and step 2 ck? how are your scores?
Did they ask about them in the first interviews?
ANS-Step 1 score 78 percentile,in the first interview he said step 1 is low ,going to be difficult for you,the pass is 75, i said i had problems with sleep on the night of step 1,but step 2 i tackled sleep problems well so have a score = 99 on the previously used 2 digit score,i added have step 2 cs and step 3 left,am sure i will do the best in them so hoping to match.
In the second interview ,he had asked tell me about Step 1 exams,i told him, then said tell me about your score..i said 78 ,he asked tell me about step 2 exams i said bla bla and he asked scores i said 231 which is equal to a 99
Do you have any relatives in US?

Well, the first time you made the mistake of asking 9 months, which in itself is a reason for denial.
You should have talked to someone about visitor visas or read some forums.
The second reason is low score on step1.
Third reason is you should not mention friend. They think you will stay back with his help.
Anyway, now you just mention only cs as purpose, no residency or step 3.
ask for one week or so. do not mention friend. show hotel address on the form (any hotel close to cs center.)
No need to book hotel yet.
Hope for the best, sometimes you get a good officer who would give it to you on 3rd attempt.
If you get denied this time too, ask your friend in US to find you a research asstt job and get you sponsored for an H-1b.
good luck.

U shld take it one thing at a time. do not think about residency and step 3 yet .
Just think about
getting a visa for cs so you can get ECFMG certified.
Once you get this visa, other things can be worked out later.
At port of entry they do not match anything with your DS 160. It does not work like that.
Even if you get a short term visa, you can request a 3 month stay at entry citing you have to take 2 tests.
Ans to long term plans;; wish to do residency and then come back and work in India.
For research asstt. go to yahoo jobs or any jobs site, type research asstt as key word under science or health category.
You will have tons of jobs, but the only problem is they may not sponsor you for an H-1b. You will have to request them
or ask a friend in US to help you.
