  • Apply US visitor visa with bad credit history

    Hi,

I was in US on F-1 visa and then H1-B visa. I had to move back to India after I lost my job and got married. I have pending credit card payments.
Now I want to apply for US visitor visa along with my wife. Can anybody tell me will there any problem in applying for visa due to outstanding CC payments?
If no, what all documents will be required and whom should be primary applicant for visa application (me or my wife) ?

    Thanks

Visitor visa application has no relation with any outstanding debts in US.
Unless there were any criminal proceedings .

There is no primary or secondary applicant consideration here. Both have to complete a DS 160 form and appear for
    the interview.
They will decide on your strong income and work ties to your home country.
    And Your purpose of visit.

Apply G-4 Visa with bad credit score abroad

      Hi,
I may get a job offer to work in an International Organization in the US, but unfortunately I have a bad credit score here in my country (I donĀ“t have any type of debts in the States)
I am doubtful of whether the US embassy/consulate will check or ask for my credit score here in my home country

      Thanks
