221g white slip - Delhi Embassy

Hi,

Does anyone know how long it has been taking for 221g white slip cases to get resolved at the New Delhi embassy?
Its been more than 4 months for my parents. No documents have been asked so far. The case still shows in administrative processing.

Please share your experience.

Can't answer your question but could you please post why do you think their case was
placed under 221g?

Do they belong to any specific working class like military or science?

There was no reason told to my parents. No additional documents were also asked. No my father is not in any specific working class.
He is just employed in a pvt company. Mother is a homemaker.

Any other people with 221g white slip still waiting? Please share your experience.

my dads case got resolved in 1 months . he is from biotech so was put on hold . He has been to usa in 90's for his phd so they asked him for the cv and his publication . now My wife visa is placed on 221g .. i think we are a 221g family now.. lol

well My wife got a call from us embassy after 7 days asking for more documents like pic of marriage. We have a small non traditional marriage as my brother was out and I dont have enough time for all the arrangements for the big marriage. We do have bunch of pic from the ceremony but we decided to have a non tradition marriage with only close family members were invited . they asked her how may people were there and she told her only about 50.

I am planning to submit all the documents we have including our wedding pic and pic in which we hung out together before and after marriage . also I am planning to submit my phone call log but the problem is that we use i phone for the face time and I mgs and there is no way I can get a call log for the same . I used I explore to take some call log out but i goes only for a month . Can any one please help me with what all other documents need to be submitted or suggest what else I should submit . Does any one else have similar case ? please advise . I am planning to submit the documents on monday .

Is it for your wife's B1/B2 or some other visa like H-4?

Any idea why she was placed on 221g?

No she was never issued any visa . We got married in a non traditional Indian marriage due to time constraint and my brother was not in country . I think they are worried about this small marriage . Also MY wife did took only 12 pic so they just requested more pic . Since it was not traditional marriage we dont have fere and jai maal and all those pic . I am planning to submit what ever pic we have and then see what happens . we have 250 pic in total from the small ceremony We did took a trip together and have hotel confirmation and flight tickets and other stuff. we got married in feb and I left after 3 days so didnt have a chance to get my marriage certificate and so have to come back and got it done . Now we have our marriage certificate . any other ideas . what else should I submit ?

I am stuck in the same situation. My parents were given 221g white paper and were not asked for any documents. Its been 4 months now. I have no idea how long this wait will be - it is really frustrating.
