  • Error in completing details

    I am trying to take visa interview appointment for my parents through stanley website . I created new account with my fathers name.
    Now when i login and click on schedule an appointment it asks me to complete passport details and DS-160 confirmation number when i submit this information it throws below error :

    "An applicant with this information already exists whose email starts with " **** *. **** *"'

    Please help ?

    There could be 3 reasons for this:
    1. You / your father has already created an account using email id **** *. **** * in which same passport number / DS 160 number is already mentioned so system is not allowing you to create duplicate accounts. If **** *. **** * is an email id which belongs to your father and you have control over it then use that account for scheduling appointment. Alternatively try login to that account and delete passport number / DS 160 number from that account so you will be able to use the current account

    2. Your father / father's company had applied for some US visa. You are getting this error because there is some other account created using email id " **** *. **** *"' in which your father's passport details were mentioned for visa processing by your father's company

    3. If above 2 is not the case then someone may have created some test account and randomly mentioned some passport number / DS 160 number which matches with your fathers. You will have to call customer care to get this resolved
