  • What are the chances?

    Hello all

In a previous thread I have already mentioned about my wife's previous denial under 214(b) in June 2012.

Now am applying for her in August end / Early September since we are traveling to UK for 2 weeks from 2nd August :

Here is her ds160 form highlights do let me know what you think her chances of visa are ?

Monthly income 70000 Inr after tax and 82400 before tax

Who is paying for trip : Self

Occupation Director and 25% stake owner in my business

    Working since September 2012

How much does husband make - 1.5 lac a month

Business income is over 1.6 crore a year

Previous jobs, I am not sure on this but she did her CPT In USA while she was in F1 visa so should that be a part of her previous jobs?

Visit timeframe is 3 weeks during Diwali

Reason for visit : going to visit brother and sister in law who is a USA citizen and also all of us planning a trip to Vegas

Traveling with me (husband) I already have a USA valid visa till almost 2021

So what do you guys think any chance she will get it or are we wasting time again?

Thanks and any other pointers would really help

    Thanks

She has a good chance. Are you travelling with her? If yes then she must say that she earns 70K per month and you earn 1.5 lac per month. When travelling as a family there is no harm in clubbing the income though she must call it out separately.

To show strong ties, she must talk about your business with a turnover of 1.6 crore and any property you may have. Good enough reason for both of you to come back.

Mate thanks really some of you guys here are wonderful

The problem is those guys do not ever check documents cause if they did we have just moved into our office where the sale deed itself in my name is over 21 crore but sadly none of that can ever be shown but will ask her to keep it

Also any pointers on her CPT? Should I mention that in her previous employment?

      Thanks again

The best thing you can do is to be honest. Inspite of that if things don't go your way then it is down to luck. I am sure when she applied last time, she did mentioned about CPT so these guys will have that in their records.

Honestly I dont think she will have any problem getting a visa. It will be all down to how well she answers all questions and articulates facts. You may want to spend some time with her on Q&As, go through common Q&As posted on immihelp and help her prepare an answer.

              Guys

Am taking an appointment for first week August so if she gets it will go to Usa for a week from London

Not really nervous because honestly both of us don't care if they refuse considering we have no idea why they refused and no point breaking heads over refusal but any suggestion on what sort of questions they may ask this time and any suggested answers?

Have read most posts here but usvisitor, peace, immihelp could shed more light?

Also if she asked how much she earns can this be a good answer or is it too long?

Our company has net profits of 1.65 crore for year ending 2013, and my husband makes 1.5 lac a month from it and I get about 75?

              Thanks again

I dont think anything is right or wrong, its up to your own judgement. From your end you have to give an answer which best suits your case. As far as length is concerned, if VO feels you are getting too much into details then they will stop you and this is perfectly fine.
