B2 general info help

My friend in China wants to do campus visit for his MBA application.

Here are his questions:
1. He needs to apply a B2 VISA, right? If not, which type?
2. How long does it take?
3. What proof does he need foe the interview?
4. How long is the VISA Valid for?
5. Do multiple entries to the US allowed, provided that the Visa is not expired?

He will need to show proof of his previous education in china.
If GRE/TOEFL are required, he should clear them first.
that will increase his chances for getting the B1/B2 visa.
Also, he should be clear in his mind the courses he wants and preferred cities /schools in USA.

It takes only a few days to process the visa after your interview.

It totally depends on the officer the duration of visa they will give.
Sometimes they give 10 yr multiple entry, or sometimes they grant
a one year single entry.
