Question abt invitation letter

Hi

My parents requested visa for 3 months in ds-156 form, i sent them a invitation letter requesting cosulate to grant six months visa ? does this will be a problem ? do i need to send another letter mentioning the same duration my parents requestedd ? Please help me so i can send a letter again as my parents have appointment in oct.

You better update the letter same as the form.Do not give them any chance
