Got the US Visa(B1/B2)
Hi All,
I would like to share my experience with you all.
As we(me & wife) have applied for B1/B2 Visa this month(1st & 2nd Aug, 2013) and it was approved. we are so happy.
Our age is only 24 & 25 then also it is approved. its miracle for both of us.
I would like to tell all of you that please greet consulate properly and don't loose Eye contact.
Please find below questions asked by consulate during the interview.
1) What are your plans for US ?
Ans : we are going to US for some pleasure and tourism purpose and would like visit some popular places in US like LA, las vegas, san francisco.
2) Is your tour is personal or package tour ?
Ans : Package tour.
3) What is your(me & my wife) combined income ?
Ans : whatever your combined income.(Note : it should be more than 12 lakhs)
4) since when are you working(Job) ?(to me & my wife both individualy)
Ans : last one year
5) When did you get married ?
Ans : last Jan(Six month), (me and my wife have answered simultaneously) Consulate impressed.
6) why did you choose US only, there are plenty of country in the world ?
Ans : I have answered to the consulates question but still consulate was not impressed. consulate asked the same question again WHY US only ?
then suddenly my wife started answering consulate's question.
Correct Ans : As I(my wife) am an architect and I(my wife) have heard a lot about US, I would to Explore all that place like Grand Canyon.
Consulate is completely impressed.
and then Consulate has started typing for a while and then we have heard a golden words from Consulate.
"Congratulations your Visa has been approved and Be ready for your trip"
We Replied : Thanks !!! Thanks a lot.!!!!!!

Tips :
If you want to clear the interview, you must be confident and you have to be prepare for their questions starting with ''WHY this college only ?', why US only ? Why this ?"
Be confident whether you have proper documents or not.
Here my wife has taken care of last question and our visa is approved, it means if you guys are applying as a couple you both have to prepare for this type of questions.
