Travel Itenarary - Help!

one of my aquaintances had to submit a full travel itenarary while they viit US for travel purposes. She has a son that stays here but she was asked to provide a date by date info...is this required?

Thanks for the quick response...also since is it necessary to have the month range in the invitation letter for visiting usa or can I just leave that info out and they can come when they want...

Its better to mention dates, atleast months on the Invite Letter.
