Visa question

Hello all.
I applied for a visitors visa stating my purpose of visit is visiting brother and his family and also to purchase some video equipment for my business.

I was refused stating that my purpose of visit is not legitimate.

Do I apply immediately and state tourism and visiting brother and his family as my purpose of visit?
Is this ok?

give a month or 2 gap so that it does not show that you are desperate in going. And also in the mean while do try to overcome the refusal reason and look for ways what answer will make the consular officer to get convinced. The best way is to put urself in his shoes and think logically which answer will make him/her convinced. Hope this helps

Leave out visiting your brother. Just state the purpose of visit as buying
video equipment/business related. You bungled the first time by mixing the two.

Add more to your business visit like an invitation letter from the equipment
company you will be visiting. Show your financial strength here by tax
returns and statements. Show your business registration here and its
turnover.
