Hi,
I am planning to sponsor my parents for a US visit and have their
appointment in November. I am visiting India in October and will be
there during the interview time.
Quesiton:
1) Is this a problem in getting visitor visa?
2) Is it ok to show my passport copy without the visa stamping at
the port of entry in India for my forthcoming visit, during the interview?
3)If the consul officer asks about when my parents met us last
is it ok to avoid saying about my presence there?
4)I heard the consul officer can find out. Please confirm this.
How does he find out? From his database or from the copy of
passport that is submitted?
Please advise on what to do to maximize the chances of getting the visa.
What is the best thing to say on the intention of visit of my parents in the
letter to consul officer/invitation.
Thanks
