Seeking personal experiences regarding B2 visit!

Hi guys, I am due to visit US in the first week of Sept and have few queries:

1. Can I change my travel dates from those mentioned on my DS160 form while appy for visa interview?
2. Can I change my port of entry from the one I stated on Ds160?
3. Is it imperative for me to buy the return tickets while departing from India?

Because you are traveling on a visitor visa, the airlines won't let you board if you do not have a return ticket.

Also, at the port of entry they can check your ticket to see if you have the intent to return.
So you MUST carry a confirmed return ticket.

If there is no note on your visa ( annotation) restricting your dates and purpose , you can change both.
