Supporting documents when applying visa with name changed

Hi,

My father's given name in my documents is different than what is appears in his properties documents, govt provided docs such as voter card, aadhar card etc.
To sponsor him, I wished to get passport with the name that appears in my documents and we got that by affidavit and advertisement thru local newspaper. But when he will go for stamping, what documents we have to provide? As properties, asset docs, voter id, aadhar card, bank accounts etc are with his old name, how to we can provides supporting docs to for the new name? Please help me, how to proceed, I am stuck...

Property docs, bank deposits are usually not looked at these days.

But they can enquire about name change as he has to answer a question about name change on DS160.

So he must carry proof of that ( affidavit, ads ).

Does only affidavit can work for name change or we have to show ads also ?
