DS-160 questions past work/education?

Hi,

while filling form ds-160 for my retired parents.. it asks you to provide their past education institution and work experience. Now for retired folks (mine are 65+) it is hard to recall the exact dates for them as they did education and last work experience was atleast 8 years ago.

what shud be done in this scenario? as i dont want it to become issue if they I hope dont ask doc proof of it.

They need to write the dates to the best of their knowledge and recollection.
