I applied for a visitors visa and my purpose of visit was visiting brother and his family and to purchase some video equipment for my business. My application was refused stating that my purpose of visit was not legitimate.
My interview is on the 27, Oct., I stated this time that my purpose of visit is purely tourism.
My question is;
will this not be a problem since in my first application I stated to visit brother and to purchase video equipment? (slight change of purpose of visit)

I think I answered this q before. "Tourism" as a purpose again would not be
legitimate if you had a previous rejection for the same reason.
You should present a real business reason related to your work and not mix
it with visiting your brother or tourism.
