  • B2 Visa Sponsor

I like to invite both my parents and in-laws , I am staying in US from Jan this year , my bank balance are not great hence decided to sponsor for my parents and in-laws ( self-sponsor - more than 1 L INR income per month).

To sponsor my parents is it mandate that I should have filed IT ? or is it ok with my pay-stubs and back balance of $12 k ?

Invitation of my in-law can be in email or it has to be hard copy .

        Hello Raghvi,

As I came down this year Jan’13 , I do not have income tax return document so little skeptical if this is mandate for sponsoring my parents...

        Thanks

In that case you can send the Pay stubs, bank statement, your petition, visa, I-94, etc details.

Invitation can be clubbed with the above documents and sent by Fedex/UPS etc.

VOs rarely look at the invitation documents, success of B2 will depend more on your parents ability to convince the officers that their intention is only a short visit and will return back to home country after the visit.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
